SGT (Join to see) From Culloden, Scotland, after going thru Inverness, continue North about a hundred miles to the Whaligoe Steps. The Tourist Centre in Inverness told me of the ‘Steps’ and that if there were no fish to take to market in Wick, the fisher women, would walk the eight miles to Wick and sell themselves if their family was in dire straits and needed money.
