I once tried a diet that required me to drink one ounce of water for each pound I weighed and two ounces for each pound I wanted to lose. After two days of drinking several gallons, I had to quit. However, I did get a lot of exercise, isometric holding my knees together and aerobic running to the bathroom every ten minutes

I drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water a day chased by that much in coffee.
