It is bad, very bad. The rebuilding begins. What's going to be needed in the area now are laborers for the cleanup. Engineers, Then Skilled Trades People to rebuild. in the midst of destruction there is opportunity for people not afraid to get their hands dirty. What they won't be needing in the area is PhD's, Sports Stars, and Actors. The non contributing members of society.
My Fraternal roots are buried deep in the area 30 miles south of Asheville, I spent a lot of time during my life, in the area. In fact anyone with my last name can trace their lineage to that area.

This is going to be extremely difficult with the Longshoremen strike going on. You're definitely right about the noncontributors who are not needed!
