The rally was called Unite the Right and was masked with removal of a statue that already had a court order in place preventing its removal for 6 months. The media, Deep State or nobody else but Jason Kessler and the leaders of all groups from the right and left bear any responsibility for the outcome. The LEO's had an agreement with Kessler that they would use the single designated entrance to the park, and the movement violated that agreement. Probably with the intent that things would progress as they did. Opinions are nice but never take precedence over facts.

I don't think the Nazi and skinheads were invited. Every Confederate monument group that I'm aware of such as the Sons of Confederate Veterans, etc. denounces the Klan and Nazis. I think the Klan took it upon themselves to join in this demonstration, and even obtained their own permit. They did this in an effort to legitimize themselves among conservatives. Man, did this fiasco back-fire on them.

Like you, I'd like to believe that as well, but it seems that only Unite the Right and a UVA Associate Professor acting as a private citizen held "permission". The final authority for Unite the Right was "judicial permission" from a Federal Court Judge. The professor held a permit. I have no idea who was invited and won't speculate because there's been too much of that going on. I've found nothing regarding KKK holding a permit. A bizarre twist though was that the ACLU defended Unite the Right in their effort because cancelling their original permit would have deprived them of their right to free speech. ACLU is usually condemned for their liberal stance on most issues. Here's some background on it. There are rallies being planned for Lexington KY and Boston MA at this time.

All these groups that solely exist to cause havoc , death and destruction will em brass anything that seems to give them legitimacy. They are like an infection looking for a host. The more they divide the general public the more recruits they get. Its hard to stop insanity when it takes hold and it infects other more easily when everyone plays their role. Anyone regardless of the latest label or faction that marches down any street in any city attacking others, burning property or doing harm to the general public and rule of law should be EVERYONES enemy. Propaganda by both our Federal, State and local governments as well as the MSM only exist to keep the civil populace off balance and looking in the wrong direction as they do what they do best, take control. To many think of Government as some sacred protector with pure intentions and unquestionable loyalty to teh people. It couldn't be farther from that, Government is run by many HUMANS, weak, Greedy, Power hungry, Perk driven cowards. The few truly honest ones are trapped in the mire and either can't or won't rock the boat for fear of their lives and status. That old saying about "ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY" has always been true. Pardon me while I await the Black SUV's.......

CWO3 (Join to see) - Yeah the ACLU is usually far left on their views, but occasionally they get it right. I don't support the Klan or the Nazis, but I do support their right, and the rights of others to say and express ideas that I don't always like.
