It was entertaining....Here is the history of AirSpray, the company that owned the bombers....and every plane they once owned and tail numbers....

Those seaplanes can scoop the water and be back on station attacking the fire in a few minutes. I am 55 and I still have to click it twice otherwise the same thing happens LOL.

I like the video, LTC (Join to see), and I also watched your take off video from the movie, Catch-22. I’m sure you know this, but the aircraft used in the movie were Mitchell B-25s.
BTW, I saw the movie when it was first released in 1970, and also read the book by Joseph Heller, so I’ve been tuned in to the meaning of catch-22 for a long time!

Yes, I knew the difference. I originally thought the planes in Canada were A-20 Havocs but they were actually A-26 invaders. I have a 74 year old friend who has a 97 Year old uncle who flew the A-26s for the 8th AF and he was mad because he had to do 65 missions! Low flying bombers on dangerous missions during the German retreat from France after D-Day. His uncle still drives and he became a warrant officer to fly Hueys for the Air National Guard. What an experience. Flying a bomber in WW2 at age 20 or 21 then flying Hueys in his 40s!
