Thank you form sharing an image of Morticia Adams sipping hot tea which was her favorite Lt Col Charlie Brown. She could sic Cleopatra on anybody who disturbed her tea drinking.
Gomez Adams preferred coffee and nobody knew where cousin It's mouth was :-)
I have been enjoying Black Dog coffee from Tanzania and will be driving there later today.
I keep a pen nearby. A pen through the eye or other soft spots can do immense damage to an offender/attacker :-)

LTC Stephen Ford; BlackRIfleCoffee.com. Is a small batch roast to order company and
Military Vet owned and employing Veterans and Veteran family members. You can go to
BlackRifleCoffee.com to get the full
Story much better than I can tell it .
(I know I will not get you to switch.
Not my intention[ but if you should take a chance on it and like it and switch.. I’ll gladly accept blame/credit])
* * *
I went with a friend to a shooting exhibition and Gun display/sale and had my Black Rifle Growler thermos
with Black Rifle Coffee.. I didn’t pay attention to the sign about outside food containers. The ticket
taker didn’t see it down by my side.
It was later while sitting and watching that I was approached by a worker/member of the gun club.
They explained that though they didn’t have a venue to purchase, it was for the safety of the guns on display that beverages didn’t get
Spilled on them, accidently or on
Purpose. The member noticed my Growler had Black Rifle Coffee on it and gave me a slide on it. Just don’t take it into the display area they asked me nicely. I could take it back to my auto before going into the display. Just show my ticket stub. The complaining guest wasn’t happy that I didn’t get ejected.. There was still more
Shooting shows going on.. It was good I brought my ear plugs to lighten the sounds.., It would have been interesting to see the displays/sales but the place I was parked was a good quarter mile to the place my auto was .. So I waited on a bleacher for my friend to be done checking out the guns.. a half hour to 45 minutes or do. Meanwhile that guest kept pass’g By and giving the stink eye.. and I kept smiling.. no comments needed. . .

Thanks for posting the background on the original Black Dog who was named Bear.
The current black lab is named Java SSgt Boyd Herrst
Black Dog Coffee is located close to Martinsburg, WV VAMC . I talked with the owner a few years ago about his coffee roaster which is 87 years old -, or so - and the black lab which he rescued. What started as a hobby for him developed into a business. What impressed me most was the fresh taste of the coffee. I learned from him much about coffee. Now I only purchase coffee with the roast-date stamped onto it [Black Dog does that and I have found that at least one Brazilian Coffee company [on Amazon] does as well.
Black Dog supports local stuff and provides discounts to all vets, service members and their families. Usually it is 10%. On Monday they gave me a $2 discount on a large coffee which was a 2/3 discount.
