The deathrate downward percentage is continuing while the number of known infected is rising. The United States at the current trend of known infected will reach 1% of the country's total population this week.
The current deathrate of those hospitalized is 12.2%
The total deathrate of all known infected is 4.3%

If we don't have a vaccine, the infection rate will continue until we reach herd immunity; as long as the death rate is dropping i am less and less concerned. I continue to take reasonable precautions but we all have to live our lives and that cannot be in bubbles...

Except death rate lags new cases by a couple weeks so we still have to wait and see.

Lt Col Charlie Brown WE will all get it - thing is to not overburden our halth care system.
i.e. If we have 200k beds but only 100k patients we are fine BUT if we have 200k beds but 300k patients we have a problem.
Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen That is a concern.
