IMO, Donald Trump spreads a lot hate and violence every time he speaks or tweets. There is a fine line of how far people should take "Freedom of Speech". Do you think DJT has abused his privileges, as President or as a human being.

Most of these flags would have had fostered intermediate impeachment discussions in Congress. President Biden has a Teflon of Hillary Clinton.

1SG James Reynolds - As far as your "Timmy" argument, you're trying to have it both ways. Those people who participated in the illegal acts of January 6, are responsible for their actions. "Donny" told me to do it is not a defense, particularly because Donny didn't tell them to do it.

Maj John Bell - That is your opinion. My opinion is that Donny did tell the angry mob to attack the foundation of our representative democracy. Donny and many others used the pulpit of the executive office to enrage thousands to commit treason upon our nation. That, to me, is an unforgiveable act whether he or they actively participated in the deadly attack upon our nation or not he and the other speakers bear responsibility of bringing together angry people, failing to recognize that the people of the United States spoke on November 3, 2020. Continuing to spread lies and dissension among the country is proof to me of a completely inept attempt of a person who is incapable of providing mature leadership. The fact that people are discussing whether this country needs to, to use extremist conservative words, divorce democrats and republicans. Have you read the Federalist Papers? Do and others including extremist liberals and extremist conservatives comprehend we need the cooperation of both political viewpoints to maintain a representative democracy? Our founding fathers understood that polarization will lead to a loss of freedom. How far are people willing to take this unending and I would characterize as insanity (Continuing over and over to use the same arguments and completely failing in every competent court and judicial review is Einstein's definition of insanity.) in furtherance of destruction?

I will continue to debate my viewpoints until someone is able to convince me, through peaceful discourse, that some basic tenet of being a moderate conservative and understanding that being able to use give-and-take compromise is inconsistent with democracy. A healthy democracy demands liberals and conservatives cooperate in a working government, when one side or the other decides there are no negotiations democracy ends. Ex-president Donald J. Trump may not have begun the current stalemate in our country but his words and actions certainly brought us to a significantly higher level of anger and inability to maintain a free nation. Thus my opinion is that Ex-president Donald J. Trump is a failed leader and must be held accountable for his potentially criminal actions.

1SG James Reynolds - Yes, I've read the Federalist Papers. They and the Anti-Federalist Papers were part of the curriculum in my high school. I read them starting in January of every presidential election cycle. Is there a particular paper you feel is relevant to this discussion in particular. If you are addressing the theme of unity that runs through the first papers, the discussion of unity among the sovereign states, NOT unity among individuals. Madison clearly asserts that dissension between individuals and factions is part of human nature and thus inevitable. It is the premise that we are a nation of laws that makes compromise and cooperation possible (perhaps inescapable)., not capitulation by one faction or another.

Make no mistake, I'm not trying to justify or excuse away accountability for the January 6 riot. But I refuse to allow my personal opinion of President Trump's personality to color my thoughts on his personal culpability. Fortunately we are a nation of laws. In light of the Supreme Court guidance on incitement, your opinion counts for little. If a prosecutor thought they could make it stick, he'd already be charged. The congressional inquiry is a show, nothing more than a cynical attempt to stiffen the DNC base and sway independents. Despite that I encourage the DNC elite to continue the show. It tells me more about them than it tells me about the riot. There is a growing awareness among the electorate and our representative don't realize we're on to them. They are overplaying their hand.

Some background:
_I live in Central Lake Township of Antrim County.
_The County and the Township are so strongly Republican that we haven't had a Democrat run for any local office for decades.
_The disparity between reality and the tally initially delivered by the township polling station is what caused our County clerk to ask herself "What is going on here?" and prompted a second look. That second look discovered the human error affecting the Dominion voting system results, which initially favored Candidate Biden.
_That begs the question, what if similar human "errors" happened in precincts where there was no clear historic pattern
_The Dominion system was used in the majority of counties in EVERY state with a Candidate Biden margin of victory under 4%. Since it is a state total that determines the electors, multiple small errors could have thrown the election.

I'm guessing the election was probably NOT stolen. But it GREATLY disturbs me that I'm not dead certain it wasn't stolen. So it should have been challenged in every case, repeatedly. I cannot imagine why anyone would not want to be dead certain that the results were accurate, unless...?

It does not help my concerns the the Michigan Attorney General ordered an accelerated destruction of election paperwork in direct contradiction of State Law that establishes the election records retention.
