I want to reclass and would like some input on the MOSs listed below. What is day to day life? Do they deploy? What bs come with it?
Hey everyone,
I used to be a 13B and reclassed to a 68T, currently an E5. My window opens up in a couple of months and I’m thinking about reclassing again. At this point I’ve come to realize, I do not like being stuck in an office on a computer as much.I would be happier outside and I wouldn’t mind a deployment. I know I would enjoy working with ammunition.
I’ve done some research, but I would much rather get some input about these MOSs from soldiers in the current fields, or with experience. What day to day life is like, what do you do in the field, what other mos’s you work along side with and are deployments common, or how often you’ve deployed?
MOS’s I’ve considered :
Combat
12B-combat engineer (maxed)
19K- Tanker (tier4) (P low)
-3 man section, live in tank.
89D- EOD (P low, schooling is hard)
92M-mortuary affairs (P low)
89B-ammunition specialist (maxed)
92R- rigger (maxed)(Tier5) (Airborne

Use all your old skills including the animal skills. Medical Service Corp people are allowed to be borrowed into civil affairs.
Most are airborne units.
