It's the person who wields the instrument that harms be it a knife, a car, a gun, or an airplane.

A cop searched me once and found a small pocket knife. He said "I thought you said you didn't have any weapons" I stated, "just like a baseball bat, it's not a weapon unless used as one. A knife is a tool". He gave it back to me and left me alone. He had this bewildered look on his face.

OK Senator Harris...
_What is the acceptable rate of kills per unit of time?
_How did you arrive at that kill rate?
_What is the difference between a semi-automatic rifle and an assault rifle?

Until you can answer those questions... I might as well be discussing calculus with a duck.
