Thanks for the history and the memories. My neighbor, Doug Tyler, back in the 60's painted many old barns in MI. One of the paintings was that of Paul Revere on a barn in Fenton MI.

Not in today's schools. I recently talked with a high school graduate in my home town, and in our conversation I told him I was a member for Sons Of the American Revolution (SAR) and he had no clue what the American revolution was! I was floored to say the least. I asked him didn't they teach that in history. He told me History was an elective and he did not take that class in all of HS years ......

CWO3 Dennis M. - I am so horrified. And grateful all my kids are long out of our schools...the grandkids will probably need to be reeducated.
