Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day is titled "Interplanetary Earth." The two-exposure mosaic of our home planet was captured on the same day in 2013 by NASA spacecraft Cassini (in orbit around Saturn) and Messenger (in orbit around Mecury). Beautiful and mind-boggling at the same time. "What is man, that thou art mindful of him?" (Ps 8:4, KJV).

Good Saturday Morning Maj William W. 'Bill' Price!!! When one looks at the two spots in the sky from 900 million miles away from Cassini and then the one from Mercury's Messenger mission.. it is somewhat mind boggling to see our Earth as a tiny speck of light millions of miles away... Great APOD, Bill... NO video for this one today ... Yesterday's video still suffices. LOL!
