Dang, people getting stupid out there. I'm going to actually start using my CC permit as intended. Sigh.

I carry every time I go out. That's why I got my CCW. When seconds count, help is minutes away.

Maj Robert Thornton That quote is from Sheriff Grady Judd, Sheriff of Polk County, Florida, and he firmly believes that we have to be our own first-responders. He is also my Sheriff.

SGT Steve McFarland For myself, I just never felt the need but I'm also a pretty risk tolerant person. I now feel my level of personal risk is going up as people in general seem to be getting less rational in this situation so time to start carrying outside the RV.

SPC Kevin Ford I also live in an RV park, and while I'm not concerned about my neighbors, the gate isn't much of a barrier to crazies. People have driven under the gate, driven through the gate, or can walk around the gate.

Well my opinion is cc is just another way for the state to track you and your weapon , and my state now has A gun safety class to be had before you can even purchase one, and or want to keep the weapon's you have And that rubs me way wrong as former WA state guardsmen and as a former war vet with more time training the fbi than most the kids running the state, I have more time with a gun in there hands as a trainer air born , urban assault warfare specialist and trainer, Russian attack force OPFOR , And many yr of live ammo nuke missile sight guard duty in Germany Alaska and Korea let alone the fact I was the ammo dump NCO inspector for ft. Lewis 1990 threw 1992 ya desert storm , So ya the commies are running things here

SSG Lonny Self They should do what FL does. A DD214 is accepted as a valid proof of safety training.

SPC Kevin Ford Yes, and Florida is expediting CCW licenses for Veterans. I got mine in less than two weeks.
