The taxidermy club met today to start preparing the form for the red fox the club president is going to be mounting. Another member, a female, (shown on the left side of the photo working on prepping the manikin legs) is very interested in mounting a grey fox. I have the fox already (got it from a trapper in Pennsylvania last year). She will need to tan it and prep it for the mount as well as prep the manikin before mounting.

I don't know if everyone knows how much I enjoy introducing and sharing this fascinating hobby with the younger generation. Taxidermy schools are so expensive to go to putting it out of reach for most students and their families to afford. Maybe when (if) I retire I might start teaching it to our youth.

VIC, I DO Realize How Much You Enjoy Working Wirt The Kids,
It's Always That Way It Is When One Enjoys What They're Doing.
Although I Was only With Junior Achievement For A Year, Which Only
Met Weekly, It To Was Fun , But The MOST Fun I's Had As An Employee
Was When I Worked In Purchasing For FMC- We Worked With Engineering & Design,
Sales., Advertising, A Few Customers Occasionally And Even Other FMC Divisions.
And As We're All Previously Heard "It Wasn't Work At All, It Was Fun"!!

A long time ago, my cousin was a taxidermist and he called himself : "An extreme naturalist." I thought that was catchy.
