Old Man Statement, Day 77, 2 December 2025
Mr. Burk is so old...his main form of communication as a child was grunts.
Note: No old man statement tomorrow. Only the English 9 and English 10 students will be on campus for their End of Course Exam. My room will not be in use. I will be administering the EOC but in another room.

Mr. Burk points at tree: "Grunt!" Heads shake all around him. He points again: "Ugh?!" Heads shake all around him. "MMnff?!" Heads shake all around him. A few moments of silence. Mr. Burk points again and says: "Tree?!" And so language was born.
