It seems as if the cooler weather is experiencing some warm air advection as cooler air recedes northward. The bouts of snow and major frost is about done. Good rule of thumb, watch from Anchorage and up to Fairbanks. Cool air is dammed across that area, but that too goes north with the Jet Stream and more baritropic wind flow. Meaning that winds become more zonal with less chance for more wintry weather.
