Good “R.E.D Friday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the now beautiful crystal clear skies of the Greater Boston Area... The bad weather has passed us!!! Nice temp of 72° with 76% humidity and winds W 6 mph. Camaraderie Day!” Why Not? Having breakfast now, will be back shortly to finish up... Great quote on Camaraderie, Colonel...

Camaraderie (ca·ma·ra·de·rie) is a Noun and it fundamentally means something like this:

My View:
"Camaraderie is the beneficial mutual trust and friendship among people who spend a lot of time together. As in the following: "a genuine camaraderie on a sports team" or the camaraderie/comradeship of troops in battle. Other words with similar meaning include: friendship, fellowship, brotherliness, solidarity, mutual support and the like... This is what tightens the bond between people, yet today the political theater we find ourselves in is seemingly tearing it apart." Kerry F. Harkins, September 4, 2020

1) "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships." - Michael Jordan

2) "Just think of the trust that often exists in soldiers. Within their own unit, you could say they have to trust each other. A spirit of camaraderie builds up and, in the end, they will risk their lives for each other. They may even go so far as to dehumanize the other, enemy group - a mechanism you can also observe in chimps." - Jane Goodall

3) "The success of the Rat Pack or the Clan was due to the camaraderie, the three guys who work together and kid each other and love each other." - Sammy Davis, Jr.

4"When is a game more than a game? So often, we pay lip service to the uplifting power of sports, the teamwork, the camaraderie, the lessons in taming one's own ego for the sake of the group. But you have to wonder, how often is that still really true? - Michel Martin

5) "Sports are such a great teacher. I think of everything they've taught me: camaraderie, humility, how to resolve differences." - Kobe Bryant

"There are many lessons to be learned in life, but when all is said and done, 'Camaraderie' means far more than we give it credit for... The Colonel's quote below is another great example to follow..."

“Camaraderie to me is respecting each of our brothers and sisters no matter what our political, religious, or other affiliations are – professional respect always and being there to support them when they are in need – ‘Warriors for Life!’ ” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect that your family members, friends, and coworkers demonstrate respect to you since you are respectful to each one in general. Hopefully, you and I are quick to forgive personal offenses against us from family members and friends. Hopefully, we are spiritually mature enough to forgive those who have misused us. ‘For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,’ [Matthew 6: 14 ESV]. my brother-in-Christ Sgt (Join to see).

I pray that each of your adopted sons and daughters are spiritually mature enough to submit our desires and plans to YOU and that we are each willing to defer the fulfilment of our desires to help others achieve their desires. Sacrificial love is noble habit to develop. One day we may be called to lay down our physical life for others. In the meantime, we can daily die to self to bless others. 'Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.' [John 15:13 ESV]
I lift the suicidal, despondent, and severely depressed to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU motivate mature people who are good listeners and compassionate to spend time with the vulnerable and prayer warriors to intercede for them. I pray LORD that YOU restore hope to the suicidal tonight and give them each strong reasons to hang on to life as YOU enable them to crawl and walk into striving.
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Friday night and will awake healthy on Saturday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Some of my friends are filtering back from deployment. It's good to hear from them. Always remember those deployed.

Good morning Col Burroughs and another RED Friday is upon us. I am having trouble tracking the days...doing straight deployment days that are longer than five in a row will do that to you. I am on all weekend as well.
If I had to narrow down the one thing I miss most about being on active duty it is the camaraderie. I didn't realize just how much I would miss it or how difficult it would be to find elsewhere. One of the things I worked at very hard when I joined the education system was trying to build a sense of camaraderie in the team of teachers I was assigned to. Not an easy proposition but we took our program from the one with the highest student drop out rate to the lowest within two years. It was due to the teamwork of the teachers and every one of them was willing to help their teammate or any student whether or not that student was part of their class. I still get thank you notes from students more than five years after I retired.

Thank you for the post, Lt Col Charlie Brown. Camaraderie remains the glue that kept many of us alive while we were in Viet Nam. We had each other's six. It was one element of many that we owed our lives to when we went on patrols and missions. The Camaraderie that many formed with the indigenous peoples of Indochina was as close to tribal as one could ever imagine. I still have a relationship as strong as that between brothers between two here in the community (SGT Robert Pryor MSG Leamon Ratterree) because of our shared experiences.
