Washington (CNN) — The Justice Department on Saturday appealed a decision to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that stopped enforcement of the executive order banning travel to the US from seven Muslim-majority countries and suspending refugee entry to the US.
Friday night, federal Judge James Robart, a George W. Bush appointee who presides in Seattle, halted the enforcement of President Donald Trump's order, effective nationwide.
Hours later, on Saturday morning, the Department of Homeland Security announced it had suspended all actions to implement the immigration order and would resume standard inspections of travelers as it did prior to the signing of the travel ban. But it urged the Justice Department to challenge the ruling "at the earliest possible time."

Good Thing that there are still Professionals in the Government to put the New CINC in Check when He Oversteps Himself as far as International Treaties, International Standards and the Little Matter of the US Constitution.

Steep learning curve for Donald Trump when it comes to this and a steep learning curve for other than conservatives who are so resentful about the loss of the election. It goes both ways.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - don't worry chip this is not an attack against you because you learn to adapt you are a sailor. I'm referring to others born with a silver spoon in their mouth will give them so if their own gun permits but won't let anybody else have them either. Rule of law will be interesting to see how how the new Administration learns to adapt because it's not The Apprentice anymore.
