I made the sniper mark a long time ago that people in the military were going to brag about passing the acet while before I used to brag every once in awhile about maxing the army physical fitness test. My last one at age 56 I scored 299. I took the Army Combat fitness test and the summer of 2021 on my final annual training. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. If I would have taken into test a week later I would have been 57 and my run time would have made me get a 100. I slowed down a lot because when I was 31 and basic training and when I was 33 in ocs, I could run a 12 minute 2 mile.

I always did OK on the PT test. Maxed it a few times. It was interesting to watch the whole thing play out. One of my colleagues didn’t take the test but penciled in the score. He got caught and received a few as sh*ts for that.

I believe the Congress should butt out of the Army combat fitness test disaster. I also believe the SMA needs to own up to Big Army's failure on this as well. I have zero problems with the test. I have a problem how it was rolled out especially for the Guard and Reserve.
