I was in Jackson, MS in the early 60's, helping register voters. Some "good old boys" took exception to my efforts and arranged a 2 week stay for me in the local hospital. Did not change my beliefs.

The fascists and racists are anyone that disagrees with Chip's liberal worldview. It is totes ok for protestors to pound on vehicles, pull people out and beat them, but if you defend yourself, or speak out against it, well then, you are a racist fascist. Remember, only the progressive liberals have the enlightenment to determine racism and fascism, and they must pontificate and launch the holy inquisition in the name of Grievance studies and Social Justice. All others are infidels and must be converted by the sword, or be socially ostracized.

First of all this is not right! Second, since this is not then armed protesters
from the left that are rioting/looting/beating/killing others from the right that don't agree with them is not acceptable either. But those don't make the news because they don't fit the narrative...both are wrong!!! If we are going to show one side let's show and talk about all of them.

One of these said protesters almost cost a little girl her life in Memphis. There was a protest that shut down the interstate coming across the river from Ark to Memphis. This little girl was being transported to Mem Childrens Hosp for life saving treatment and it was time sensitive. They couldn't get through because of the protesters not allowing an ambulance with lights flashing to get through...finally the police escorted them through after an hour by slowly driving through the crowd not hitting anyone dispersing them enough for the ambulance to arrive in time to save her life. Another 30 minutes and she would have died. Her blood would have been on their hands. All for protesting as that is every Americans right but use some damn common sense. Had that been my child I probably would have grabbed the wheel from the ambulance driver and hit anyone in my way to save my child but the headline would have read " Angry White right wing republican hijacks ambulance to run over protesters."

Now what was done at these other protests was wrong and done with hate but there is no difference between what the left is doing now and what those people did then. Hate for an ideology is still hate.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Worked for MLK, his protests were largely on public sidewalks and the protestors did not accost passers by.

MSG Stan Hutchison - you have a right to protest, you do not have a right to be seen or heard, if you take it upon yourself to block roads, highways and interstates without getting a police escort to do so, then your dumb ass deserves to be run over. Second, do you really want me to post every instance of when a vehicle stopped, the protestors then began to beat the vehicle. and terrorize the driver and passengers? You have a right to protest, you do not have the right to accost or terrorize fellow citizens.

MSG Stan Hutchison - They can hold protest anywhere they are peacefully assembled. When you are blocking business and people from getting to and from work to their families and necessary errands etc, you are not being peacefully assembled.

The protestors of the Tea Party accepted what their methods were at the time instead of denying them publicly.
