More from: "Out of the mouth of Seniors:"
A wonderful Folk Singer/ Comedian, named Elliot Max was sitting with several of us old fogies on a ship. All of us had been married 30 years or more. We got to talking about how as you get older, the "fights' with your spouse get shorter and less intense than the first couple of decades.
To the point that they almost disappear. Sometimes just a look or a quick snort, and you move on.
Elliot said:
"Not me. Me and my wife fight all the time."
We stared at him. We knew his wife, and we saw them interact a bunch on the ship...and they were always quiet and sweet. So we called him out.
"Elliot, that's not true. We have seen you and your wife together a bunch, and you two never fight."
He looked surprised and said:
"Oh, I never tell her."
We laughed so hard we cried.

Man, I can easily relate to what you're saying, and also Eliot, Brother Kevin. I have some pretty long arguments with my Wife in my head all the time

You will never win a live argument with the wife, best not to express it where She will hear it.
