Have a JV football game tonight that my grandson play linebacker in, have to see if they forget to play the National Anthem again, or the superintendent holds true to his word.

Auburn’s new coach got it right, SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth! Here’s the way the Tigers came onto the field last Saturday for their first game of the season!

LTC Stephen C. - I support what ever team my wife likes, the Georgia Bulldogs. My “sweetie” is a long time Miami Dolphins fan. She’s known as “Granny Fin” on their fan website. She dislikes Nick Saban because of his abrupt exit from the Dolphins. She has no animosity toward the players. Auburn students even helped cleanup after the Tuscaloosa tornado.
Wasn’t football derived from rugby? Is the huddle the same as a scrum? Real men don’t use pads. I disagree with one rule of rugby, you can’t pick up a player and drop him on his head, if he doesn’t have the ball.

Here’s what Wikipedia says about the origin of American football, SR Kenneth Beck. “American football evolved in the United States, originating from the sports of soccer and rugby.”
On occasion, I watch soccer, rugby, Canadian football and Australian rules football, but none of those sports capture my attention as does American football.

LTC Stephen C. - I'm sure you will be on the Gators side next
Saturday to upset the number 1 Crimson Tide in Gainesville ???
Maybe the Tide arrives in Gainesville at "low tide" which will help. :o)

Dunno, SPC Woody Bullard! That’s going to be a great game! Alabama is a tough customer, though. If they were playing that game today, the Jeff Sagarin ratings would favor Alabama by 11.57 points. You’re definitely going to need a low tide!

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth I hope they have a good game!
If they don’t ‘play’ the National Anthem, you could start singing it like people are doing in other sports venues!
Have a great evening!

The anthem was only picketed because it gave opportunity to show on a large scale how stupid Trump was/is. I have no doubt that trumpkins will now do it to mock Biden. There was never no disrespect toward the flag, or our military. The only disrespect came from the guy who called us "Losers and suckers".
