Okay SSG(P) (Join to see) since no other USMA graduate has responded I will. I used the link you cited to do some basic research. I was part of the first USMA class which included women as cadets.
This release is interesting because the event occurred in 2014 or no later than 2015. I expect it is being raised because of the heightened number of stories on sexual harassment of late.

It makes sense that Madeline Lewis dropped out of West Point in what may have been her yearling [sophomore] year when she would not have an obligation back to the Army.
Both Madeline Lewis and Ahmad Ali Bradshaw seem to have had significant issues as cadets. Hers was multiple sexual relations while his was honor violations such as cheating.

1. The school started an investigation led by Maj. Damon M. Torres, who concluded that the two cadets [Madeline Lewis and Ahmad Ali Bradshaw] had had a consensual sexual relationship. Torres suggested Bradshaw be punished by the Brigade Board and sign up for the Respect Mentorship Program. He was also barred from playing football while the investigation played out.
2. The Army Criminal Investigation Division and Staff Judge Advocate opened a second investigation and found “insufficient evidence to charge Bradshaw with sexual assault.”
3. Cadet Bradshaw was charged with violating the Cadet Disciplinary Code for “improper use of government facilities by way of sexual activity, which includes, but is not limited to: kissing, hand holding and fondling,” according to West Point regulations.
4. It is interesting that Lewis said she had sexual relationships with a few West Point cadets, which was used against her by her fellow classmates.

When I was a USMA cadet [1976-1980] sexual relations between cadets were forbidden and I expect they still; are.

IMHO all matters should be left to the board, and proper authorities.

I've read several stories attempting to cover this particular case and have spoken with a few individuals who actually knew Bradshaw at the academy. I am inclined to believe in the results of the two separate investigations into the alleged rape: I really do believe that everything was consensual until they were caught or some fight occurred between them. However, Bradshaw's military behavior at West Point seems to have been proven to be terrible. Found guilty on one honor board and with a significant number of negative Cadet Observation Reports, its surprising he is allowed to represent the academy in such a spotlight position. From what others have told me, he consistently went around his CoC to other football players in key positions in order to get what he wanted. I also thought that he was kicked from the team during his plebe (Freshmen) year...but I can't find another person to confirm. Long story short: not a rapist, but certainly still a bad representative of the academy and the Army.
