My question isn't about which religion is correct, rather are they all? In Genesis 11:7 God said, "Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other." In my mind it stands to reason when He sought to save His people He would have sent many prophets. Also that it was the leaders of the respective religions that came up with my way is the only way.

For those who have a personal relationship with God, He speaks directly to our spirit SPC Rory J. Mattheisen. God communicates directly with us like He communicated with the prophets of the Old Testament period and the New Testament period.
When we see, hear, smell, or taste what we sense is "processed" by our mind/brain and therefore we perceive indirectly. God communicates directly to those He calls His own.
Islam demands that in order to understand the words of their unique prophet you must be able to read the Arabic text that was extent at his time.
Judaism prefers communication in Hebrew or Aramaic; but it is acceptable to speak, read and listen in the mother tongue of whoever is a Jew.
Christianity can be communicated in any language. Wycliffe Bible Translators and other organizations have been working to develop written languages for those languages which have no written language as a gateway to developing the Bible in each language.

LTC Stephen F. - Our life, world, and universe as we know it are materialistic. Every thought or idea anyone has ever had is based upon experience, in effect manufacturing humans (or any other experientially reliant entity) as intrinsically materialistic, thus making everything pertinent to humans "[require] a non-theistic" cause. Even ideology is materially based.

I see this conversation easily transitioning into a discussion about the antichrist, who will deceive many, many people who are both learned and ignorant. The antichrist isn’t a symbol or a figure of speech. The Bible says he is real, and that shortly before Christ’s return the antichrist will come in a final, desperate attempt by Satan to destroy God’s work. The Bible calls him “the man of lawlessness … (who) will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).

At the same time, the Bible warns us against jumping to conclusions about the identity of the antichrist, or trying to predict when he will come–just as it cautions us against trying to predict when Christ will come again. In fact, the Bible says that the evil spirit of the antichrist is always working in the world–and the reason is because Satan is always at work. The Bible says, “Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come” (1 John 2:18).

Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

SGT Jinger Jarrett - Totally agree with this: "Don't confuse religion with relationship."

Um... wasn't that the whole point of Epiphany? When the Holy Spirit visited the Disciples as tongues of flame over their heads, and they began speaking in every language known?

I am right there with you Edward. When you overlay the great commission with the gift of tongues, you get Prophets in every language. Kinda fits with the whole belief of reconciliation, eh? Was that Epiphany or Pentecost?

Amen brother! I believe you know what many of us know. The day of Pentcost restored this who belong to God by His Spirit and gave us a very powerful language. We who speak it understand it fully. Those who do not simply do not understand. When they come against it, that does not offend me at all. It saddens my heart and I pray for them.

Religious are made by man to make sense of the world, it should come as no surprise that people in harsh climates would perceive God as harsh or that people in areas that easily supported life would perceive God(s) differently. One way we can judge religion is by looking at the impact it has on it's followers. If one looks hard enough though, there is no doubt in my mind that almost every religion has really good and really terrible people following it which makes identifying the goodness or badness of a religion extremely difficult. Outside of noting that fundamentalism tends to sour the fruit in any religion where it's applied overzealously I hesitate to condemn the religious beliefs of anyone. All we can do, is do our best to love God(s), this world and our fellow men.

Well I must say that I am very disappointed that you have based 99% of your argument upon untested personal supposition. I expected more from you based upon our previous discussions.

CPT (Join to see) - My intent was to prove an abstract of my beliefs regarding religion, I have yet to write an actual book on the subject where I detail how and why I reached those conclusions.
