Are military personnel allowed to go fishing when at a duty station?

On pass or after duty hours.

Many of my favorite memories of being stationed at King Salmon Alaska involve Fishing for Salmon in the Naknek River and the small tributary that ran pretty close to the backside of the base where we caught Rainbow Trout and Grayling.
