Do we need a new fence, better security outside of the fence, or a buffer around the fence?

Yet another jumper over the White House fence.
How can we prevent this?

Simple I think if they are worried about they should just start by adding a nice electric jolt to that bad boy and a 24hr less than lethal sniper would prove a point I think lol

Just electrify the MF, set it to extra crispy and forget to put up warning signs. Oops!

A big voice asking the question: a bullet to the head or releasing of the dogs. Let the person choose and act accordingly.

That's all we need is to do throw money at a problem? No, how about actually addressing these people's complaints. I am sure that they tried other means of contacting their "leaders" before taking the drastic measure of jumping that fence. My guess is that they were ignored. Funny how the president is never in the White House when these things happen too. Oh that's right he's always on vacation.

There are already security measures in place. As long as those security measures are followed, there should be no problems. A jumper over the fence, if stopped outside the building, is appropriate. The failure comes if the jumper gains access to the White House (as it was recently). Travel the world, take a look at other countries... They use similar level (some more, some less) as what we have. In my opinion, the government is of the people, for the people and there should be a degree of access to government by the people. Taking pictures thru the fence, walking close, to the fence, etc need to be allowed. Keep security in place but as low key as required to maintain safety and security.

Seems to be the New "In-Thing" to do. I wouldn't. When I was stationed in DC the guys I knew in the Secret Service were some big bruisers with some bad attitudes.

No, we just need snipers posted on top of the White House that can back up the signs on the fence that say "trespassers will be shot on sight" pun intended,

To quote Roger Waters, "Tear down the F***ing Wall."
I don't see a problem here.
