Do you believe that "Radicalized Military Vets" are a true threat to the Nation?

So, this is from the Daily Beast, and it infers that military veterans must be monitored. It brings up "the present and historical ties between American hate groups and armed servicemen and women....".
My own belief is that, because Veterans, Evangelical Christians, conservative Catholics, and mothers disagreeing with school boards tend to not vote the way that the staff of the Daily Beast would like, then they should be rounded up like the Gypsies and Jews in Germany in 1939 (too much of a threat to the New Order).
It seems that this article would classify George Washington as a "Radicalized Military Vet".
So, how do you see it?

It appears to me that only veterans still hold true to the oath we took. To protect the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. And it seems to me the largest threat to the constitution is the leadership of the Democratic Party. And every thing they said would happen under a second term of president Trump has happened under President. Biden. Wich is confusing to me. That is my personal opinion. Thanks to all my fellow veterans for your commitment and Service to a wonderful great nation.

A true threat to our country is the left. Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the liberal elites and the media. The veteran community, as a whole is aghast at the current conditions of our country. We took an oath to defend it against foreign and domestic enemies, and there are more domestic enemies in the USA today then there are foreign threats. We have a two-tiered justice system that if you are a Democrat and a liberal, do you have one standard and if you’re conservative and a republican, there’s another standard. This article is just blowing smoke to try to stir up the left to be more anti-military, then what they already are.

You would know that if you actually tried to do some of your own research instead of being told what to think by the Left propaganda machine of most main stream media. The difference is that Trump has many times denounced the KKK and the Neo-Nazis for the scum they are. I would agree that they would be a danger if they actually had the numbers that Left-wing media would have you believe but the fact is they simply don't have the numbers or momentum to be a danger to this nation's security. WARNING - this got long-winded.
I was at the National American Legion Convention last week in Charlotte, NC. There was a panel there of all the branches comprised of each branch's senior enlisted. The topic was quality of life in the military.
I wanted SO BAD to pose a question in response to their concerns over enlistments and retention. Obviously, to me at least, it would have put them on the spot to either be honest and risk their remaining careers, or to force them to lie. The Army rep was a SGM however, representing the CSM of the Army. After the panel, the stayed around for photos and some chats. I asked the Army SGM if we could step aside, explaining I didn't want to post a question to the panel that could cause them problems as previously stated.
He SEEMED to be sincere; but he stated that, "The Army units I've seen, have not issues with Trans or gays. I told him the military was far better off when DADT was the rule - so long as no gays openly admitted their preferences, no one bothered them, even though we pretty much knew who was or was not gay. NO ONE CARED if they kept their lives PRIVATE.
I explained to him how my son was exposed to a gay's complaint that he made a negative comment about them. As BN SDNCO he had to make rounds of the billets. He went into a common area where a bunch of Artillery guys were. As is common, his Infantry MOS and the Arty guys busted one another's' chops, a lot. HE walked in and said, "Why does it smell like there are a bunch of gays in here?" From the reaction, (facial expressions) he knew something was amiss. A soldier stepped out of his room and said, "That's because 'I" am gay, Staff Sergeant!" My son apologized and said he was just busting chops. End of case?
Not so much. The next time he was SDNCO a few nights later, a Captain began to BS with him, very casually. Asked about Mike's deployments - 1 year in Iraq and two separate years in Afghanistan. He asked the names of some of Mike's officers and Sr. NCO's ... sounding like he was looking for guys they both knew. Though Mike thought it odd that another Company Commander would be what he saw as informality, he didn't think much about it.
Mike was pulling SDNCO 3 times a week - contrary to how the DA6 was supposed to ensure rotation; but Mike was a "wounded warrior," dealing with the Med Board, etc, and that week or two, his company was at Ft. Irwin on training. So, the NEXT time he was SDNCO, the officer stopped by again. [Sorry this is long-winded.]
The Captain then told Mike he had spoken to some of his leaders he served with in both Iraq and Afghanistan ... Plt Leaders, one or two CO's and two of his SGM's. He told Mike something about how they all said he was a great soldier and NCO. THEN, the Captain revealed why he'd visited.
Mike had already heard that a PSG, a 1LT and his 1SG were resigning, or retiring in the case of the NCO's who had enough time. Why? The Captain explained what was going on - this was right after the lifted any DADT policies and said gays could openly serve. They suddenly saw themselves as a "minority class." with NCO's they did not like, or who tried to get them to DO THEIR DUTY, one of them would file an IG Complaint which is exactly what that soldier from Mike's rounds did.
The Captain explained the unwritten, but FIRM policy. First complaint ... off-the record counseling by one's CO. (Mike's CO, fortunately, was at Ft. Irwin!) He told Mike- that a second complaint would be formal, written counselling. A third complaint would result in a BDE CDR's letter, identifying the subject NCO as a "Toxic Leader," thereby rendering him/her as NON-promotable! Hence, the earlier retirements and resignations.
Mike had no further issues ... he was careful after that, but rarely had to contact guys not in his unit. By the way, I said it was fortunate that his own CO was at Ft. Irwin ... that's because, in his Company, "wounded warriors" were treated like SCUM! Extra duty in spite of the DA6; forced PT despite medical profiles that ended with Mike being taken by ambulance to the post hospital, twice! Single NCO's at that time had no on-post housing and resided off post. They ORDERED him to drive back and forth, despite being on narcotic meds! Finally, he refused to do so and his CO and 1SG filed Malingering charges! His last year in his beloved Army was horrible waiting to be Med Boarded out. Him and one other "wounded warrior" were both treated like that.
So yes, there ARE psychos in key positions. Oh, about the charges of Malingering? Mike took his medical records with him to CID, and gave his Army doctor's name to the Agent. The doctor is a full bird Colonel. When the Agent reviewed his medical fie and profiles, and spoke to the Colonel MD, he called Mike's CO and conferenced with the 1SG. He told them, VERY FIRMLY, to withdraw their charges ... "or face some serious consequences." He then apologized to Mike and said no further action would be taken.
I know this got long ... but the issue in today's military and the gay/trans issues, have far reaching morale issues. My apoliies for dragging this out - I just had surgery and pain pills are terrible though they do give some relief.
I did tell the SGM that if they wanted to improve retentions and enlistments, the brass best look at their extreme liberal policies! I couldn't tell if he agreed or not ... his one disturbing comment was he was unaware of any such things as Mike and others at Ft. Lewis experienced.

Well said. I still have contact with one of my old sqd ldrs, we have known each other for over 30 years now, and we are always asking each other what the purpose of our service was. It certainly wasn’t for the crap we are seeing today. He and I both retired in 2010 and we both agree that we wouldn’t last 5 minutes in today’s army. The military should not be involved in wokness.

Couldn't have said it better. I too wonder often what it was I protected and sacrificed for. Not for the woke shit show of today, that's for sure. I served from 1988 - 2001 before being medically discharged. I would have retired in 2008, maybe later. Someone asked me not long ago if I had to do it again would I volunteer again? I had to premise my answer with "In today's Army or the Army I joined in 1988 because they are vastly different." If it were the 1988 Army, without hesitation I would do it all over again. Today's Army...Nope.
My daughter was going to join the Army National Guard a couple of months ago and was planning to take ROTC in college when she starts in the fall. She asked me what the Army was like when I served vs what she would be in. When that conversation ended, so where her aspirations of being in the service. I was proud she wanted to join but also understood why she changed her mind. She is very conservative minded and because of all of the woke policies being forced on the military she said she just felt she couldn't do it and wouldn't last long there is she did. I think, she is right. I think it is also a prime factor in why the military is missing their recruitment goals so badly lately. There are some other factors as well of course but I think this is one of the major ones and the powers that be are just to thick skulled or unwilling to admit their ideology isn't as popular as they think it is.

Well we did all swear to" support and defend the Consititution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic... ". I am seeing direct challenges to that document, but so far I feel the system in intact (checks and balances) . The question is when and how to intervene.

SSG Douglas Shaffer - I was more referring to the DOJ and FBI targeting parents that speak out against pornographic material being introduced in elementary and middle schools in the name of DEI. The DOJ targeting pro-life activists while allowing pro-choice activists free reign in doing practically whatever they want to do. The NSA and other intelligence agencies now being used to monitor our civilians when it used to be strictly forbidden, I know that to be a fact. The IRS targeting political opponents if Obama. Indictments against a previous POTUS with the sole purpose of interfering with his ability to effectively campaign or maybe even jail him for something the current sitting POTUS has done. An administration that will not uphold its oath to protect the southern border and allows anyone in. An administration that tries to mandate its people to take experimental, unproven vaccinations and destroys our military through its enforcement of such ridiculous, Un-American, dictator-style edicts. When they allow un-elected agency stooges to simply make up "legislation" on a whim. That's just the beginning of what I mean by weaponization of government agencies. And yes, I believe we also watched an election stolen in real time.

SGT James Hunsinger - Let's look at this education system we have. We have parents that raise hell about books in school they fully know well their kids will never check out, and yet most of these parents won't say "Boo" when their state decide to cut the state education system first, when that state cuts their state taxes. How can we prove this, look at teachers' salaries? Teachers as broke as they are, are having to by school supplies for their students because the school can provide the supplies themselves. You have school buildings that are in total disrepair.
Frist teachers and Librarians don't get many choices when it comes to book in the schools. They get to hopefully pick a few however it is the state board that does all of the picking. The text books the state board pick, many have misinformation in them, my kid came home, and her geography book had the Equator and the Tropic of Cancer backwards along with a few other areas in the textbook that were wrong. I raised a fuss about it at the school board meeting they were aware, but nothing could be done, because the system didn't have enough money to buy geography book that had the correct information in them and the way the system is set up, budget wise they would have to make do with those books, for the next 4 years.
As a parent I supervised what books my kids could or could not check-out from the library. So, where are the parents? Who am I to tell you what book you kid can or cannot checkout after all that is your job as a parent. The whole BS about teachers indoctrinating kids as to what gender they should or should be is a pile of BS, where are the parents of these kids, does little Johnny or Susie only act like that at school, I bet not.
Are we being monitored oh you bet cha! half of all going calls, are rerouted to Canada and then back to the states, because the CIA and NSA can only monitor calls coming in from other countries. Do you really believe a bunch of Good Ol Boys that only talk among themselves got busted by an FBI informant. Pay attention to these busts of really small groups and they are always busted because of an FBI informant.
First off, a lot of people go to jail on both sides of the line. People complained about those that were in the riots compared to those of Jan. 6th. Over 4000+ people were arrested for those riots some 800 were charged with arson all went to jail, yet we had police officers shooting people in the head with bean bag rounds and blowing people's eye out. The police shot an old man in a wheelchair who was only watching what was going on in the head with a bean bag round. You had police shooting pepper balls directly at reporters who were recording the news for the people, why wasn't that officer not arrested for violating freedom of the press a constitutional right. I'm not saying either side was right. Everyone is quick to point out Soros for being the bank behind all of this, but no one points to the Koch Brothers, who have done some really shady things for they stand financially better when republicans are in control of office. If you're going to look at a coin, look at both sides of that coin.
The Military for generations has been the medically tested on for years. Hey, we just busted a nuke over there now go walk through there. What's going to happen? Huh, we don't know just walk through there so we can find out. I got another great idea let's dope our troops and see how well the perform all tripped out on LSD! Everyone had to take Anthrax shots, everyone had to swallow this pill or that pill sure this one made troops rather aggressive, and they came and killed people. You can't say well Biden did it too without saying Pence did it too. Trump had an out, the National Archives knew he had classified documents and had requested for them, for months all the while he kept dodging them. Only after about 8 months of playing this game did the FBI get involved. Pence and Biden both went the correct route to return documents by informing the FBI, who in turn came and recover them and were allowed to search both homes and offices without warrants. Now we have some Australia Businessman coming here and telling us about our own national secrets.
The southern border, how many on the watch list have been caught? Well over a hundred were just caught at the southern border. More had been caught prior and more will still get caught. However, these numbers are small. In one year under Trump over 2500 on the watch list tried to get in. over 2000 tried to fly in just over 350 tried to cross the border and the rest tried to come in by sea. So, under both, Biden and Trump were doing a great job at the southern border. So, it's really not the southern border that is the problem. Instead of spending billions on a wall that they have been tunneling under anyhow. Let's spend that money on the countries whose people are mostly coming here for safety they are claiming amnesty, for fear of their lives back home. let's pay their police better as to not take bribes, let's train them better and arm them better. Let's make tougher laws on weapons smugglers taking us weapons south of the border. Without the support of American gun smugglers, the cartel wouldn't have so many weapons and ammo. We have Americans and Mexicans that are taking weapons from here to down there. Maybe we are searching for the wrong folks at the border.
Do we need new rules yes let's start with the Supreme Court should our justices be taking such large gift (bribes) and not have to report it. Should we have term limits on the Supreme Court. Should we have term limits on both the congress and the senate just as we have on the presidents. This was the whole point of Jefferson saying we should have a revolution every so many years, not decades.
We now have members wanting to cut back on Social Security and Medicare, because they can't pay back what they stolen. So, let's make those whose money we have stolen suffer for it. the last time they did cuts of 13% to these programs we had little old ladies eating can cat food because it was what they could afford. How about we cut half of all the aides that work at the Capitol first!

I couldn't read the article without them wanting me to pay for it. In all it is a bunch of BS. We all know the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and we all took an oath to protect this county and those documents. It didn't matter while in service as to what side of the fence you're on politically and it doesn't matter now, all we need to know is who has your back because bullets don't care what you believe in. What matters is the person left and right of you and supporting the Constitution.
We all know our civics as to how our voting system works. We all know that both parties conduct the voting process together. both D and R's (Sounds like a government branch) watching over everything day and night as the voting process continues. from the local county polling station all the way up to the Capital both parties are watching over the votes. So, if anyone still believe the election was stolen then they would have to believe that Party of R was in on it.
We all know that the Constitution stated we are all equal.
Many White supremist haven't served in the service, a few might have but how many were riffed out due to their own behavior I.E. Art 15's, not able to conform to military life, went to the Puzzle House with in the first year of service. They are all like a bunch paintball and airsoft Wanta bees. Where many members are members of "Meal Team Six"
If they really were White Supremist in all aspects, then they all should have supported abortions right and support Roe v. Wade. Why because many believe in race replacement theory that the minorities are going to replace the white man. Well, if most abortions were happening in low-income minority groups and population areas and not supporting the ability to have abortions is like a self-fulfilling prophesy!
The Bible tells us, if our brother is hungry to feed him, if he is without cloths cloth him, even if he doesn't speak the same language or is from a different country. So why are so many white supremist claiming to be or declaring that they are of Christianity. When their actions and behavior clearly show they are not. They are bastardizing Christianity into an abomination to support their own hatred.
If we are standing next to a school when at that moment a school shooting begins, we would be the first to run in to save lives not caring or knowing who's lives we would be saving. We all reach out to those in their time of need to help them, that is what we do.
So again, the radicalizing of Veterans into such groups is totally BS.
