Attention congress: in accordance with my oath to support and defend the constitution, it is incumbent on me to support the constitution whenever it comes into conflict with other laws. All laws infringing on the right of the people to keep and bear arms including and since the NFA of 1934 are inherently unconstitutional. Repeal them all. Until you do I will be assigning a legal team to prepare pardons for all persons convicted held and punished for non-violent violations of any of these laws, and I will be signing their pardons as rapidly as their cases can be adequately prepared.

Reactivate the 4 battleships. Who cares of a Mk-whatever toprpedo can make it sink itself. It would not have any problem getting volunteers. I agree with SSg Ayscue.

CPO Frank Coluccio - You know, if you want cooperation from a third world dictator, park the USS New Jersey off his coast along with her battle group and that SOB will get cooperative in a heart beat. You know that they say the most cooperative enemy is a dead one. Lobbing Volkswagons at them from 30 miles and hitting a football field on the 50 yard line...and the shells are not a million bucks apiece! But they work, just ask the Japanese, the North Koreans, and many mnay more on that hit parade.

I love the battleships as much as anyone. I have plenty of pictures of the Missouri, which I encountered in the latter half of my time in. But, the simple truth is: today's destroyers can deliver more energy downrange, kinetic OR chemical, than the venerable BB's ever could, and at a fraction of the cost. Which is, of course, why they're obsolete. Don't get me wrong, I love them as much as any sailor can. But as a first move in office? It'd be a step backwards.

The USS Missouri alongside. Picture taken by a very wide-eyed, young, awed Sailor, who could feel the sense of palpable power.

I would fire as many people as humanly possible in the Legislative Branch and replace them with citizens who have the skill sets for the jobs that are currently unemployed. So killing 2 birds with one stone, decreasing unemployment, and putting people in power who actually care about the country and aren't trying to make government their career. I think there should be a cap on how many times a person can be elected to office. Just my opinion. I would have my new Fed do out a new budget to decrease pork spending and decrease our national debt, and reverse any of the bills put fourth before the HOR that I and the American people don't agree with and clean up the outdated ones.

Reaffirm our committment to Israel. Do not scold the only democratic country in a non-democratic and draconian/corrupt and divided and fighting ISIS and each other Arab world.

Sgt Joe LaBranche I would resolve to be a man of faith in God and ensure I spent time with Him in prayer and reading His word each day.
I would honor my wife as First lady of the land.
I would gather the best group of advisers I could muster to serve on my staff - not yes men but solid thinkers and people who can both think on their feet and act quickly and purposefully without passing the buck.
I would institute a review of all previous POTUS Executive Orders and get recommendations from trusted advisers on which ones to keep and which to rescind.

LTC Stephen Conway - "Common sense isn't" I'd be a dictator. Much like a Captain of a Ship at Sea.

They think they have an "Obstructionist Government" now. Nothing better than being flat out told that EVERY bill that comes before me will be Vetoed unless there is a corresponding Law of MY choosing that gets removed, as well as a heavy dose of "Enforcement Discretion" of existing Law. I'll just furlough the DeptTreasury until Congress pulls their heads out of their 4thPoint. They think "they" can shut the government down... I laugh at thee!

Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS - Tell congress that everything gets vetoed until you have a budget bill on your desk that not only eliminates the deficit, but puts us in the black enough to pay down the deficit by at least $1 trillion per year, cuts spending across the board, eliminates agencies such as the Depth of Education and others, AND balances the budget. And all this will take place in one year. This "balance the budget in 10 years" crap is just another form of kicking the can down the road.

LTC Stephen Conway - What is that you speak of? Common sense? I don't know as many people know what that is these days. You know, I always wondered this: why do we need a license for everything except procreation? I think it should be a requirement to obtain a license to procreate after obtaining a DNA sample, hair follicle drug screen, background check, and automatic disqualifiers would be welfare and/or drug abuse.Sick of people abusing the system and getting away with it, and using my tax $$ to get high. I don't know, any thoughts on that? I mean while we're talking common sense and all.
