This has become a point of contention for some. Do you think that this hinders your experience on RP by letting one know you are viewing their profile? I am a bit scared why 1SG (Join to see) is looking at my profile so much.

I didn't vote. I would like to see the notification dropped down to once per week. Meaning, don't tell me again that 1LT Rosa has viewed my profile if it has been less than 7 days since you last told me.

That would not be bad. Somewhat like LinkedIN. The initial view does let one know about being seen by another while the others will not relay anything other than they have have missed something on the first view.

1SG (Join to see) is a special case CPT (Join to see) . We have him on the stalkers watch list at RP special operations. Once his has gotten over 100 views of your profile he will move on. Have a great day

I don't think we need the notification nor the email to say who. Just a counter would work fine.

Lol look how many people on this survey alone are saying it's not a big deal but the tabbed LT complains about it and all of a sudden it's an issue.

I'm glad you got your way sir. May we all go back to fun and intellectual conversation now?

;)

"a vessel of the collective good" hahaha I cannot believe with those words alone you have convinced me you're right. But I'm convinced! Give the man what he wants! :)

Just so you know I voted to keep both. The option to remove is the best alternative. The down side is that you would not get point for it I suppose. But to each their own.

It's not about what you say but how you use your words.

CPT (Join to see) I don't much pay attention to those things to derive my sense of significance. For me it's just an amusing anecdote. I looked and don't see where that is displayed. Perhaps as an Administrator, that info is available to you.

A hot looking female is going to get a whole bunch more profile views than a sharp dressed man such as yourself. Don't worry about catching SSG V. Michelle Woods Ain't gonna happen! : )~

I find this feature incredibly creepy. I do NOT want to know who has viewed my profile and I do NOT want others to know when I have stopped by. I happen to click on profiles often for various reasons and I don't want it broadcast. Most of the time I am simply trying to familiarize myself with someone, and if I choose not to reach out to them I don't want it to be turned into an offense, I don't want to feel obligated into becoming friends with every profile I view.

I'm sure you ladies get a ton more invites than most of the male representatives on the site. That being said, none of you ladies except SSG V. Michelle Woods (x1 not that I'm counting) have viewed my profile yet and I'm feeling insignificant! (just kidding)

I ignore it- it seems that some folks just have to know if you know what you are talking about- especially if it doesn't go with the flow.

I don’t want to appear as a stalker. I would like to see the profile of that knucklehead that just made that moronic comment! Yea- you know I’m talking about you verified SM!

Richard is actually a friend of mine. I figured I would use his as a means to get my point across. He did get a good laugh about it. But I have had this actually happen to me with other members. I am an Admin here and I have had some members just something similar. But as an admin team we have the ability to stop such actions. I am sure you have see some members here get out of hand at times. We usually try to stop them before they get too out of hand. BTW, is that a 505th Flash on your beret?
