Trump should not give it up, he just needs lessons in dignity, truth, grace and how to be a leader, history, diplomacy, and get some psychiatric help

So are all the attacks on President Trump passé, but I'll bet they continue.

He's crazy like a fox. It's his ego that gets him into trouble. He's kept many more campaign promises than any resent president to date. Only the socialists don't seem to get him yet.

Haha...and you have no moral compass...you ok with traumatizing young children? Regularly insulting John McCain? Sexual assault. Venture over to the DSM-5 under personality disorders. Oh and all the lies....go on James...tell me about all his campaign promises. You mean like the wall. Obamacare? Tell me...

A better question is "why should he"? It's free speech and even though much of what he says is not what we have come to expect and some is just plain petty, stupid and alarming it's a method he chooses. I'd rather have a scandalous tweet a day than no news at all, and the latter alarms me more because we have no idea what he's thinking. He likely has no idea what he's thinking either but absent another BS restriction I don't see how he's violating anything other than the trust that well over 1/2 the Nation never had in him from the beginning.

No doubt, he sometimes says things that are not presidential.
That said, I love that he has a DIRECT LINE, unfiltered, with the American people - and really every person in the world. He does NOT allow 'whisper down the alley' and he controls his message. The media have been neutered, and it pisses them off. They cannot control him. They are not holding power over him. The rules have changed between the media and the oval office, and also the American people. AND the "Establishment".
TRUMP has UPSET THE APPLE CART, and for that, I am happy, thankful, and enjoying the show.

YES. Someone needs to exercise some restraint over what is transmitted by President Trump's Twitter account - before the unfiltered nature of the content gets us into an otherwise avoidable shooting war or some other violent conflict. Moreover, the announcement of any major policy changes (e.g. transgender and immigration bans) should go through properly vetted channels - rather than being tweeted without any adequate consultation and/or consideration for citizens' welfare and larger government policy implications at 5:00 am in the morning. I am also tired of waking up to national news of the latest inane tweets from the president. The North Korean Ambassador's response to their perception of the Declaration of War contained in President Trump's weekend tweets - threats to shoot down USAF bombers approaching their country - only highlight the extreme risks involved in his unfiltered tweets. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

No, absolutely not. President Trump did not create the problem with North Korea and all of the diplomacy now advocated has been tried and failed. His Tweets and other messages are reaching the Chinese who actually control the situation. Already, they have been moved to make concessions. You may be scarred by his actions. I'm not. I'm more frightened of appeasement, the kind which got us in this mess.

Now look where we are at, NK ready to set down and negotiate on their nukes, something that has not happen in four decades plus. all done with tweets. China giving in to trade all done with tweets. Seems to me the tweeter is better then bombs.

Absolutely not! Our worthless main stream media no longer has the credibility needed to be trusted with valuable information or to be taken seriously as an information source. Our President should have a means of communicating HIS viewpoint to the American people. The MSM distorts the message apparently out of their personal opinion being tantamount to the truth.

If only it were that easy. The media has become so occluded with lies and innuendo that someone seeking the truth really has their work cut out for him to find it. I look at as many sources as is reasonable to do, compare them, and consider the veracity demonstrated in the recent past. Once they are proven a liar, it's almost impossible for me to consider them anything else. I depend on my own research and my 55 years experience in business and engineering and my 76 years in walking this mortal coil. If you can produce anything less fallible, have at it.

So you simply compare sources to each other? And rely on your 76 years walking the mortal coil as you put it? This is not the first time when I have come across someone like yourself. You see the fatial flaw in your reasoning is the simple fact that you rely on your opinion to determine if it is fact rather than looking at a primary source. It requires a lot more research during today's climate but that is all the fun don't you think?

It's a fatal flaw to be so opinioned about someone you cannot possibly know. Just what qualifies as a primary source for you? My guess is that we would differ greatly in that choice. Who's right? Only time will tell. You took a giant leap in judging me. Now look in the mirror. I've been forced to deal with pre-judgements much of my life so I'm not surprised at this one. This isn't the first time I've come across someone like yourself either. Unfortunately in today's toxic climate, you probably won't be the last.

Time will certainly tell. All I hope is that you can stop attacking a person when I'm clearly attacking your primary source choices and your reasoning skills. Everyone gets rusty seems like you may need a refresher course in eng 101 where they teach you how to properly find the primary source. I'll give you a big hint it's not other news articles.

He's the President and wants to communicate with the People. It's not unlike the first radio broadcasts or the first TV broadcasts to the public from the President. Does he shoot from the hip sometimes? Yes. However that's his prerogative.

Does he have any idea of what he's talking about? If he "simply state(s) what (Assange) states", that certainly implies agreement. And comparing our Intelligence agencies to Nazis as he did on Jan 11, 2017, in New York, doesn't make him sound like much of a "big fan".
