This is not political? Walmart stops selling AR-15 style rifles and home defense shotguns...

Walmart has instituted a new corporate policy that bars its stores from selling semi-automatic AR-15-style rifles and semi-automatic shotguns that have a magazine capacity of seven shots or more. The chain denies politics played a role in the decision. Seems political to me.

It is probably not "political" on their part. I am sure it was based on a careful cost-benefit analysis. I am equally sure anti-gun groups and potential lawsuits and protests (all three political actions) factored into the "cost" part.
I think they made the wrong decision, but I don't think they were trying to take a political stand. Instead, they were trying to get OUT of being in a political fight.
