What are my chances of getting approved for a compassionate reassignment due to having panic attacks, depression, and anxiety?

My husband and i are enrolled in MACP, he's a E5 and im a SPC and we were starting the process of trying for a baby and I was seeing BH for my anxiety and panic attacks. Im set to ETS Oct2021. I PCSd to Korea in August, once i in processed i made appointments to BH and let my command know what was going on before left my last unit. The BH wasn't working for me,, they were only 30 mins long and the provider didn't help much she talked, but was off topic and only focused on one thing at a time. Being in Korea alone, no one to trust and rely on,, my anxiety and panic attacks got worse, I felt alone, depressed to the point i contemplated ODing on Ibuprofen. My chain of command was informed on my thoughts and so was my BH provider. I was on suicide watch, for a bit. I had to check in with my NCOs every 3 hours and they took my Ibuprofen. I wasn't hospitalized. The BH provider didn't talk much to me about it, I told her it wasn't working out with her and that i needed to seek a higher care through my actual unit's BH. I have an appointment with my units BH in 2 weeks, i thought about getting chaptered out with adjustment/depression disorder, but now i found out about compassionate Reassignment. On top of being stressed out having insomnia, Im still having panic attacks, depression, and anxiety. It's too much, the BH at my last unit helped a lot and with the help of my husband.

SPC (Join to see) Well let me just say, I truly hope you get the help and support you need from the doctors. Remember you are not alone, and though it may seem like it there always people willing to help. Below is the like to HRC's webpage.
Criteria and supporting documentation for Compassionate Actions are outlined in AR 614-200 Chapter 5.

I certainly hope you're able to get the help you need. As for your question, you are more likely to be med boarded foe mental health than you are to be given a compassionate reassignment. The reason is that a CR is used when it can be reasonably assumed that the issue is short term and can be remedied in a year or two. Your situation is that you have a condition that is incompatible with Army lifestyle. It is unreasonable for your command and providers to believe that you would not experience the same issues the next time you deploy.
If you do believe this is a temporary situation and that you will be able to recover and be deployable in the future, then you could receive a CR with your commander and Provider support. You will need more time on your contract because HRC usually does not approve a CR without at least a year of retainability.

Melissa- there is a great, and free mental health resource called VetsPrevail.org. It is completely online, you can remain anonymous and has had great success. There is no obligation, if you find that it isn't for you, you can just stop using it. Check it out and pass the words.

Melissa, it is in the hands on the higher ups. Seek all the help you can fins, BH, Chaplian, Rally Point Warrior's for Live, Vet 2 Vet peer groups, etc. Anybody and everybody- do this now and keep doing it till you get a handle on this. You have a lot to live for and the world can be your's. It will be a fight, it's one many with PTSD, BT, etc have to do everyday. Never give up, cause tomorrow is a new day.
