Trophies for clubs or raffles made from motor parts. I save all the old stuff customers do not want, and build trophies from them when the mood strikes or Im cleaning up the shop and find I have too much

SPC Carlos R. - Thank you for the offer.
They are time consuming to make as I am not an artist at heart, so have to just stare at parts for an hour laying stuff out to get an idea what to do with them. The cutting and welding is 2 hours or so as well.
Time invested, materials used (welding wire, shield gas, abrasive disks for the cut off tool and chop saw, wear on the carbide burs ) not to mention the raw materials which availability comes and goes at an unreliable rate all mean asking price would be way up there.
I built one for a giveaway, which led to my wife asking for one for her office (service manager at a 6 brand Bike dealer at the time), and then I have built a few more as raffle prizes for local clubs. Ive had "You should build more and sell them" feedback before, but it always comes down to what id have to charge to make it worth while. And once you charge, expectations go up greatly.

Well next time you make one. Let's put it out there for a price and see if anyone bites. I don't think your doing this for a business anyways just a hobby but I am sure people would find this art attractive. SGM Erik Marquez -
