We all have them, no matter what branch.

Personally, I love the Warthog. My dad's is the C-130 (in all its variations). So, let's hear it. What is your favorite flying machine? (You are not allowed to answer SFC Mark Merino, we already know your's ...lol!!!!)

As medic, I wholeheartedly agree with 1LT Sandy Annala. Second to the Huey is a m113

SSgt (Join to see). It was also very reassuring to see so many flying in combat groups.
See particularly the heroism of Dustoff Pilot Michael Novosel at 38:30 minutes below:

We lost way too many of these brave young Dustoff Pilots and Crews.
Warmest Regards, Sandy

We used Hueys Painted RED with White US Navy on the sides in Antarctica. They were used for local ops to take Scientific parties to and from base camps and sometimes upon return to McMurdo, we could catch a hop back to the base from the Ice Runway about 2 hours away by surface transportation.

I always liked it when the pilot or copilot would spot a pod of Killer Whales and drop to the deck in a couple of seconds, trying to upset the pax, never bothered me, but did some.

If I get back in, my goal is to be on board these birds when they go out on mission from Rosecrans Air Nat'l Guard Base as a member of the Phoenix Ravens!

I use to love the cool fighters, Spade, Fokker, P51, but then I found out my mom built B-17s and B-24s during the war, that makes them my all time favorites.

The flight path on their return recon mission was right over Camp Schwab. I loved watching them fly overhead.

The F-22 is an incredible piece of equipment. We need to buy more of these.

I agree, Capt (Join to see), but we're spending all our money on the stinking F35 for some reason.

I'm very partial to the OV-10 Bronco.

My Uncle, a MAC V (SOG), then 5th Group guy told me some interesting stories about them and they stuck.

GySgt Joe Strong, there's a thread that shows where OV-10s were used for airborne training operations. I'll try to find it and tag you.

While I agree with many of the planes below (I'm a fan of the P-51s), let's not forget that the F-15s are the only fighter aircraft with a perfect operational record of 101 to 0!
