Interesting story and history. As a side note hearing that it was your wife's 4X granfather makes me feel very old. My 4X Grandfathers were all born in the late 1700s, early 1800s

Makes me feel old also. My grandfather's two older brothers served during WWI. My grandfather was too young for WWI and too old for WWII.

He also has two Canteens from the Canadian Legion named after him!
My wife was here at this ceremony on 11-11-2015 and Henry Norwest was mentioned.

Great story but I think you have too many "greats" in the relationship? My wife's great grandfather fought for the British Army in WW1. My wife is 51. Her Grandfather fought in WWII.
