That makes sense to me Ken Kraetzer since marijuana is still illegal per Federal Law it would be foolish for any Federal Agency to attempt to thwart the law by providing what is illegal to VAMC patients.
By the way, I am a VAMC patient.

If it helps... do it under supervision .. a patient would have to be transported by taxi or Van...VAVS or Vet Svc Org. Be prepared to spend night... would impose a lot of ramifications such as surrender of motor vehicle operator license for at least 48 hrs..

I do not support the use of medical marijuana in any case SSgt Boyd Herrst Extracting the beneficial elements from the marijuana would make sense to me - pill form probably to make it easier to ingest and less harmful to the lungs.

Hell, on the DMZ Korea 1973, the whole platoon was high on weed, the Army must have invented Medical Marijuana to deal with what was going on at the time. It was fun!

Until such products are approved by the Federal Government a federal agency should not promote the product. Just as I think it ludacrise that feds who live in a State allowing it can smoke it and if found hot in a ransom work related test cannot be held accountable. I guess we will next authorize service members in Colorado to smoke it because the State says it is ok. Sorry for the tangent. Thank you for your service.
