I wish to offer a public apology to LtCol Joseph Crane. In one of my posts on his topic of a 100K Marine veteran, I accused him to trying to scam soldiers. While I did not really believe that to be true, it was simply my knee-jerk reaction to his reaction to my original comment. After speaking with Colonel Crane, I have come to realize that he is an honorable man, proud of his service and proud to be able to help other veterans through his website. So Colonel Crane, my sincerest apologies.

Hey SFC Ferrell - apology not necessary but accepted. You were just looking out for the troops. I think I may have over shot some in my response so my apologies to you also. It's been great talking to you off line and I look forward further discussions.

I have made money selling on EBay. If he is turning 100,000.00 a month he must be doing a lot of drop shipping. I don't like drop shippers because they rely on others to supply the product and ship for them. A lot of things can go wrong ordering from a drop shipper. Also what is his real net profit? Although I didn't click on the link, this looks more like one of those " Buy my program and I will show you how to make money" deals. The real deal is he makes money selling you his program and not actually selling products on Amazon, lol. Then again with hard work and long hours this is possible. I have made a profit of $1500.00 in one month on EBay selling part time but that means a good 6 hrs a day devoted to just Ebay plus my other job. Also there are a lot of fees involved plus postage and handling. All which eat up profits. Do a lot of research on products and how well they sell online before trying to sell online. You can go in the hole if not careful especially doing auctions.

Cpl James Waycasie of course. I would try to find something that could be used year round. Im not ready to start on it yet. I am working on another project at the moment but once I am finished there I will start FBA.

LCpl Brian Smith - I have sold Sons of Anarchy Rings, Batman watches, Different knives, Coins, there are many products that sell well year round. When selling on Ebay, I always do a completed listing search on the item. If the listings have mostly ended in red this tells me that item sells very poorly. If most of them end in green then the item sells well. Also you get an idea of the average price the item sells for. Looking at Ebay fees, and Paypal you figure you are going to lose about 15% of your gross then minus the initial investment you can tell if there is going to be a worthy profit. Of course you have to consider do most people offer free shipping or charge. The 7 P system the Marines taught really helps. Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance, lol.

Cpl James Waycasie I have tried on ebay. I was not happy with it. I could only list 5 items and they were always shutting my listings down so I quit trying with them. I might try them later as a side project.
