That is interesting SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser on many points - first that the plaintiff's case was sealed from problem view out of concern she would be "distressed."
Unfortunately the judge is wrong when he stated "No other parent has ever been put in [the] position [of JS’s father]" because there are tens of millions of parents who have been in the unenviable position of watching as their child dies of cancer. Other people have had their bodies cryogenically frozen.
The issues are financial in that the cryogenically frozen body needs to be kept frozen for the decades to centuries to conceivably millennia until:
1. a reliable cure is discovered and workable; and
2. a reliable way to thaw cryogenically frozen body and actually restore life.
Background: In March 2003, my heart was chemically shut down and I was chilled to 34 degrees while my heart was taken off line so it could be operated on during mitral valve repair [my father went through a more extensive procedure in his heart transplant in 1992]. My blood flow had been continued through machines until my heart was electrically restarted. Since then I have had wires attached to my heart, and abnormal sinus wave function - non -dangerous. It took five months for my body to get from 34% to a normal temperature.

SN Greg Wright - Cryogenically freezing is not anathema t me my friend. It just seems like a fools dream. Freezing would need to occur before death [which would be murder] to have a reasonable chance of restoring the frozen to life.

LTC Stephen F. - Thanks for replying. Fortunately, I don't see anyone alive volunteering before they're dead lol.
