This is actually a display CAR. Driven by Ed Lynch Jr. won 220+ features, 100 at Lernville Speedway in Western PA. The track is near Pittsburg, PA. He set the track record at Pittsburg, PA. Motor Speedway with an average over 145mph. Ed has since retired. His mother is 81 and I worked with her for over 25 years. She also a VIP and in the Sprint Car of Fame and said I should be there too. (Knoxville, IA). Be that as it may, Ed give his equipment to Sye and the family has chalked another feature, when Sye won a few weeks ago. LTC Stephen F. I lived in Sarver, PA for 23 years, and we could hear the roar of the engines at the Lernerville Speedway every Friday and Saturday night from a dozen miles away.

It's been a long time since I lived there; I had a friend that lived in that area. He bought a three story brick house on a corner lot with a dressed stone wall around the yard for about $25,000 back in the '70s or '80s. When the mill closed down it became a bedroom community off the beaten path. Don't know what it is like today, but I imagine that the area has adjusted with new businesses to sustain it.
