I believe he, along with two other Buffalo Soldier MOH Recipients, is buried in Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE.

Wow, sometimes surprising things do survive. Great story, makes me want to pay more attention to Christmas tree ornaments.

For sure SPC Kevin Ford. I collect military medals and this is one you cant buy or sell. I dont agree with that law at all. Get the posers, not the people who preserve history. I see you live in Woodstock, my brother lived there till they moved to Florida after selling their house last year.

SFC William Farrell - It seems like particularly MOH versions that are over 100 years old are unlikely to have much stolen valor associated with them. It rather strains the bounds of credulity that anyone living could claim to have it awarded to them.

Woodstock, CT. Nice! I can't say I remember running into him but I sometimes forget. I own the B&B at Taylor's Corner; he might know that place.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Especially when you can open the article Chip. I get tired of the news articles that cant be opened unless you subscribe and pay. This was a nice ending to the story of a brave soldier who served his country for 30 years.
