If an Adult chooses to lead this lifestyle that is completely their right, however, with all decisions there are CONSEQUENCES.
Its amazing to me that they do not understand their rights do not trump anyone else's rights. By their actions they are not seeking to be treated like anyone else because they do not conform to societal norms. Mind you you do not have to but...consequences.
I would be just as flabbergasted and put off if someone were to walk around in one of those Dinosaur Suits applying for a job, there is no way I could take them seriously. Can you imagine a Bank Executive trying to help people decide on an Investment strategy or buy Certificates of Deposit in one of those suits? I'd think that man is nuts and go somewhere else.

“We acknowledge and respect that a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression are a part of who they are,” wrote Steph Deidrick, Chief Communications Officer for the Kirkwood School District. “At the same time, gender diversity is an aspect of human sexuality. Discussion of and providing information regarding diverse gender identities is sexual education. This is consistent with the National Sex Education Standards, which name gender identity as one of the essential topics." Deidrick went on to say, “staff may use titles and pronouns without explaining sexual concepts that accompany them.”
There are rules in place. Just like the military. We have regulations in place that govern the way we act and carry ourselves. If we don't agree with the rule we work to get it changed but in the process you have to abide by those rules until they are changed. Same here. If they don't agree, then follow the rules you were hired under, then work with the state school board and the legislature to get them changed...until then follow the rules or accept the consequences and accountabilty. You can't pick and choose what rules you will abide by and which ones you think are unfair and won't. That is not how life works. I can't drive 150 MPH in a 40 MPH zone just because I have a fast car and I think that law sucks...that is a felony arrest. Actions have consequences...follow the rules or suffer the consequences.
I sm nt saying that the rules are right or they are wrong in this case but just that we have to work inside what we have until they are changed.

--- They're just asking to be treated with basic decency and respect. That's it. They aren't asking for "more" rights than anyone else. At all. They also aren't taking anyone's rights. In what way does a transgender or non binary person affect YOUR life? In what way are they "infringing" on your rights?
This bs with you guys comparing trans or non binary people to ridiculous things like "oh if someone wore a dinosaur suit" or other bs it's ridiculous. Just stop. You look ignorant.

No they are not ignorant. Being ignorant is a state of not being educated on a subject thus with education they are no longer ignorant. What we have here is nothing more that flat OUT STUPIDITY. A chosen state many here have taken on this subject.
