This should wake you up this Sunday morning ! This Canadian F-18 scared the crap out of me. The announcer fooled the crowd out saying the jet was a minute out. I missed the shot but I found this shot on YouTube. I did not take it but this guy was fortunate enough to see it and got the camera rolling just in time. You could tell he was flying just under the sound barrier.

I so take this for granted. 16 years of my career was on the line. The last 18 behind a desk. Pays better but no where near as fun.

Being out on bombing ranges we've had pilots of a wide variety of fighters "Buzz" the EOD guys. You never hear them until WAY too late and it's often full AB at less than 100' AGL. I'm sure they laugh all the way back to base! I know I would! LOL

LTC Stephen Conway - No, actually probably just under. Plenty loud either way. Especially with birds like the Super Hornet and F-15 Eagle with 2 engines! Air shows are so much fun. You never know when or where they are coming from.
