Silly, I can say that I have Viking and Conquistador blood in me so I can wear a beard as well. Is the US Army turning into UPS? UPS has clean cut delivery driver standards but makes exceptions to Natives/American/Canadian Indians to have long hair and a braid or Muslims are allowed beards but I have to look clean cut. Too much political correctness, yet, when they call " Gas Gas Gas" , these bearded soldiers are going to die!

I agree! Today's PC military will be Dead on Arrival on the battlefield. Beards and pro-masks do not mix. Hooah!

I just hope I don't have to ditch my dress blues and buy a World War II era pink and green uniform. I don't mind if it's optional but I would be upset if I had to ditch my dress blues for a pink and green World War 2 Flashback dress uniform.

I posted this news to my post's Pagan group news feed. This is cannon for our pagan soldiers, not just the heathens within our open circle.

What's next? Use to be, you served within the confines of your branch of service and the regulations of the service. Social norms, you know the thing civilians took for granted are not a part of military life. You made the choice to serve and now you want to have everything your way, or you sue and whine, boo hoo. If you have a inability to conform to the branch you chose, due to anything, don't join. Enough is enough of this nonsense, quit with all the me stuff. As a member of the United States Armed Forces we are required to give up some of our personal liberty, always been that way and we have always excepted this. Wow, things have changed since I retired in 95.
