Good morning RP. We return to the Southern Hemisphere for today's image (G'day Cynthia Croft). The ionized sulfur, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms mapped to red, green, and blue hues in the popular Hubble palette is titled "NGC 3324 in Carina."

Good Saturday morning Maj William W. 'Bill' Price! Today's POD is a marvelous part of our Southern Hemisphere as you have aptly described in your introduction above... Some notable information includes that it is also referred to as part of the Carina-Nebula, an image of which I've included here for all to see. I hope all of you out in RP land have a fantastic weekend!
