The International Space Station or ISS
Much of what we discover is through the initial laboratory tests conducted by various scientists & Astronauts from around the world. Participants include the United States, Canada, Russia, Japan, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, & the Netherlands. I believe that everyone who watches this video will have a better understanding of our ISS.
The International Space Station is the largest man made object in space. It was built in pieces and then launched into space and assembled in orbit. In this video we'll go over some background about the station and then walk through each module in the order that it was assembled.
"The ISS is a space station, or a habitable artificial satellite, in low Earth orbit. Its first component was launched into orbit in 1998, with the first long-term residents arriving in November 2000. It has been inhabited continuously since that date."

Thank you, my friend Sgt (Join to see) for posting. An old friend of mine who is a USMA classmate Jeffrey Nels Williams has spent several tours aboard the International Space Station. He was launched by Russian rockets to rendezvous with the ISS each time.

I wonder how many military experiments are going on up there? Someone reported here several months ago that they thought one of their satellites had been hit with some kind of energy gun and had become disabled and the orbit deteriorated dropping the satellite from space into the Indian Ocean?
