Charlie Watts, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, three of the original five members of the
Rolling Stones. Bass guitarist Bill Wyman retired from the Stones several years ago
and founding member Brian Jones died in 1969. I first saw the Stones in 1964 on
the Ed Sullivan TV show and I bought and still have their first album. I guess that
old saying is true, "a rolling stone gathers no moss". :o)

SPC Woody Bullard - Let's not forget the other founding member, Ian Stewart who played on all their albums until his death. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame posthumously with the Stones in 1989.

SGT (Join to see) - I can't believe I forgot about Ian Stewart who was the first to respond to Brian Jones advertisement for musicians to form a R&B band in 1962. Stewart stayed with the band but was not allowed to appear on stage with them in 1963 as manager Andrew Loog Oldham believed six people in a band were too many. Stewart became the forgotten Rolling Stone even while he played a major role in the recording sessions. Thanks for the reminder Dave.
