Three CIBs is the first giveaway. The second one from that picture was he had the Purple Heart higher in precedence than the Bronze Star Medal. No veteran would put the BSM below the Purple Heart.
By the way, I have only seen one person actually wearing the third award on his CIB and that was General Kroesen, and he is verifiable!

SGT Robert Pryor - Thanks for sharing this Robert. If I remember right, my First Sergeant at Fort Hood had two CIB's. I know he was a WWII and Korea vet, not sure about Nam.

Thanks for the kind words, LTC Stephen C.. One thing that was funny about Rudy and me, and it does not show all that well in the picture unless you look closely, we had similar wounds to our arms -- his left and my right. I still think of Rudy often.
