Expectations should be managed- never assume others are as married to a project as you are and never assume the result in your mind will be exact. Conversely, never set your expectations of others so low as a leader that you fail to earn their best. Happy Thursday and hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs There are people who will live up to your expectations and those who will not. Part of success in life, is sorting out those two types. I find that it is best to put the expectations on myself rather than other people, because I know my own strengths and limitations. Part of the issue with expectations and others is a lack of clarity; often we have expectations and we fail to sufficiently explain them to others. When setting expectations, be clear and precise about what you expect and you will have a better level of success.
