With DT being re-elected, and the Middle East starting to flare again, I’m afraid we will not see a “quiet”, nor our troops coming home near term ....
Instead, the constant scourge of battle in Afghanistan since ‘01 will continue, & might even broaden with the rise of constant unrest I think will be in the offing...
I hope I’m wrong...

SSG Robert "Rob" Wentworth You don’t see President Trump is trying to get us out of war? You don’t see there can be no deterrence without credibility you will enforce your red line? You don’t see where having a good economy can let you use diplomacy more effectively, when you were willing to use that economic might? You don’t see President Trump’s expertise in negotiation, along with cutting bull regulations has rallied our stock market and brought back jobs to the US, that just a few short yours ago our Former President Obama “told us we’re gone forever”? I can go on with much more but I won’t waste your time: you should be able to understand that the people you support aren’t real good for our Country. They put America last. I’m not looking to start an argument, just list some facts that no one can argue with... to give some food for thought.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - That paragraph says that USING THE TERM AS A PEJORATIVE originated with the right. Not that political correctness as a mode of behavior originated with the right.
