Good Thursday morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs from a still dark Greater Fort Myers Area! We have a temp of 54°, headed to 78° today, which is about 18° warmer than yesterday! I'm loving the forecast!!! I am working my IT job today, so my RP interaction will be sparse today, but I'll still get in a few posts & responses! LOL! More shortly after I hit the shower!!! Thank YOU, dear God for sanctifying each adopted son and daughters of YOURS throughout our lifetime. YOU perfectly sanctify each one of us individual as well as corporately into the perfect image of Christ for our soul. Thank you for LORD imputing YOUR righteousness for each of YOU adopted children and justifying us
I pray that each one of us has complete trust in YOU dear God. The LORD’s election decision before time is worked out in HIS perfect time. I pray that we realize that the LORD has listened to our prayers for our friends and family members for their salvation. Our earnest prayers for salvation move the heart of God.
I pray for those individuals and families who have been evicted, terminated based on disabilities especially PTSD and other who have displayed by storms and local government decisions. LTC Stephen F. Thank you for your great comments & Prayer LTC Stephen F.! ...and yes, I have participated in the transitioning of loved ones from this life to the next... It is one of those experiences in life which stays with you for life... I have been caregiver and responsibility for my mother as she slipped into the void of dementia & Alzheimers in aperiod of 5-years...and I took over & cred for my Beautiful sister with Down Syndrome during & since that time! So I have been in charge of & advocate of two special people's lives, with one transitioning & one living in a group home with 7x24x365 care... It was and has been both a challenging & rewarding life experience, Stephen...so your Prayer to God is quite meaningful to me...

Change is part of life. When one door closes, you may seek out another door, you may seek out another corridor altogether, or use the combat engineer solution; a half pound of C-4 on each hinge. Of course, once you have turned the door into a high speed spinning rotor, you may not want to go in there anymore, so keep that other door or other corridor in mind.

When I quit being a military contractor there is no way I thought I would ever be a Special Ed teacher, yet a series of unusual opportunities and happenstances put me in a classroom with emotionally disturbed teens. Spent nine very satisfying (though on occasion quite frustrating) years in that room.

There are those who use the least amount of explosives to accomplish the goal. Then there are those who go way overboard on explosives. Then there are those who see if the door or window is unlocked...Change comes along whether we want it or not; so learn to embrace change and not fear change. Learn to utilize the change. Doing so leaves the heavy explosive charge available. I admit the explosives are fun though. Kicking a door is more fun than just turning a knob.
